No One Shows Up on Fifth of November due to "Information Received"
"Sir, would you come with us."
"Uhhhh, what for Officer?"
"You are a suspected terrorist. Now come with us peacefully or this will go bad for you!"
Once outside, after being handcuffed and "frog-marched" off the plane...
"Hey really, where's my rights, what have I done?"
"Its the music my boy, the music. Rock and roll, you know the revolution and all. We are only acting on 'information received'."

This dialogue is probably not far from the truth in the story of one Mr. Mann who met THE MAN on an airplane flight, waiting takeoff. Apparently on the way to the airport Mr. Mann played his taxi driver four songs that aroused the taxi drivers suspicion to the point of calling the terror coppers. Mr. Mann was dropped off at the airport, boarded his flight and was subsequently "frog marched" off the waiting to fly airplane. All due to 'information received'.
"Playing the Clash made me a terror suspect!"
Four songs played to the Chariot (Opel Lope Pole) were:
Whiter Shade of Pale - Procul Harem
Immigrant Song - Led Zeppelin
London Calling - the Clash
Nowhere Man - Beatles
As the below will show this quadrophonetic puzzle will emit a coherent emission from the other side of the curtain.
With Jim's '1666 Great Fire of London' piece this incident is as hand-writing on the wall! Mr. Mann's four song's selected and their order deserve a round of play here at the 'Underground Stream'. So its space needle on the ole record player and away we go...
"Whiter Shade of Pale" by Procul Harum http://www.procolharum.com/w/w9901.htm
"We skipped the light fandango, turned cartwheels 'cross the floorI was feeling kinda seasick, but the crowd called out for more. The room was humming harder as the ceiling flew away. When we called out for another drink the waiter brought a tray.
And so it was that later as the miller told his tale that her face, at first just ghostly, turned a whiter shade of pale.
She said, 'There is no reason and the truth is plain to see.' But I wandered through my playing cards and would not let her be one of sixteen vestal virgins, who were leaving for the coast and although my eyes were open they might have just as well've been closed.
She said, 'I'm home on shore leave,' though in truth we were at sea. So I took her by the looking glass and forced her to agree saying, 'You must be the mermaid who took Neptune for a ride.' But she smiled at me so sadly that my anger straightway died.
If music be the food of love then laughter is its queen and likewise if behind is in front then dirt in truth is clean. My mouth by then like cardboard seemed to slip straight through my head, so we crash-dived straightway quickly and attacked the ocean bed."

This rock anthem is pure enigma as the above link shows. Its all about sexually getting over - "and would not let her be one of sixteen vestal virgins". The album this came off of is 'Old Salty' who is the sailor of this song...or is he? Song is filled with oxymorons like a sailor who is seasick, a 'woman' sailor who is on shore leave but turns out its at sea, etc. Old Salty thinks in taking her by the hand and leading her through the looking glass he'll get one over, ie forced her to agree. And yet in so looking glass fashion and considering the Lewis Carroll reference "I wandered through my playing cards" it comes as no surprise that there's a big gotcha coming. The big gotcha is found in the siren like song/speech of the woman in the song. This plays perfectly with Jim's "its just a sprinkling for the May Queen" and that its really a flood and total collapse of the "stairway to heaven". Old Salty is so undone by her end riddle he dives straight into the ocean, seasick and all, to attack the ocean floor ... an impossible task. Yet to a fool, who thinks he's gonna get one over, its bottoms up.
The 'Miller's Tale' reference is said to be of no consequence in the writing of the song. But considering the nature of the Miller's tale, its allusion to flood, sexual infidelity, old fools and making deals with the Devil, it so aptly applies. See for yourself -http://tinyurl.com/d6cwu
This song sets the stage for all the others to come with its double speak and 'Im getting over on you' message. Old Salty due to 'information received' in the form of siren like song becomes devoid of all reason, all sensibility. The wisdom of many years, as shown in his namesake 'Old Salty', seems to drown 'a whiter shade of pale'.
"Immigrant Song" by Led Zeppelin http://tinyurl.com/pt6wg
"Ah, ah...
We come from the land of the ice and snow, from the midnight sun where the hot springs blow. The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands to fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming! On we sweep with threshing oar, our only goal will be the western shore.
Ah, ah...
We come from the land of the ice and snow, from the midnight sun where the hot springs blow. How soft your fields so green can whisper tales of gore, of how we calmed the tides of war. We are your overlords. On we sweep with threshing oar, our only goal will be the western shore. So now you’d better stop and rebuild all your ruins, for peace and trust can win the day, despite of all your losing."
Driven by God's call to conquer the hordes and gain Valhalla these 'Immigrants' take over as Overlords of a once green land now awash in blood. The comparison to conquer the infidels in God's name should not be lost on Christian or Muslim or Jew or any other "need to save the world for our Lord, He is supreme after all" religous thinking. The native recipients of this "blessing" come to know full well what landed on their shores: pseudo peace at the expense of their blood, the land despoiled, perpetual serfdom of losers who must work to keep the 'peace and trust' of the Overlords. How did the Overlords calm the tides of war? Cover the once green fields in gore. How can the conquered keep the peace and trust of the Overlords? Well despite being losers, they get to rebuild what they already once built and what the Immigrants destroyed upon arrival ... or the hammer will of course fall again.
Viking raiders are the obvious historical backdrop for this song and yet the present immigrant issue with its Civil War overtones in the US of A, the 'western shore', is clearly overlapping. It is one set of raiders ie Immigrants, prodded on by the carrot of freedom, pitted against those who think they are free and yet live under the naked tyranny of the 'Patriot Act'. It also compares with the war in Afghanistan, Iraq and quite possibly Iran, as a modern Crusade with the same storyline it had a thousand years ago ... one group of 'true believers' vs another. The hammer of the gods in this story is none other than 'information received' and in no way requires truth, merely a tale told enough times to make rabid 'driven' followers.
Mr. Mann was snitched on by a common man who in patriotic service, was convinced of the necessity to report on Mr. Mann, because he fully believed it would stop a terrorist act, thus saving Motherland England. Where did such belief come from? How does such belief make such mindless 'driven' servants? Considering Mr. Mann's snitch was a taxi driver, the line "hammer of the gods will drive our ships to a new land" is all the more ironic.
"London Calling" by The Clash http://www.plyrics.com/lyrics/clash/londoncalling.html
"London calling to the faraway towns 'Now war is declared, and battle come down'
London calling to the underworld 'Come out of the cupboard, you boys and girls'
London calling 'Now don't look to us, phoney Beatlemania has bitten the dust'
London calling 'See we ain't got no swing, cept for the ring of that truncheon thing'
The ice age is coming, the sun's zooming in
Meltdown expected, the wheat is growing thin
Engines stop running, but I have no fear
Cause London is drowning, and I live by the river
London calling to the imitation zone 'Forget it, brother, you can go it alone'
London calling to the zombies of death 'Quit holding out, and draw another breath'
London calling and I don't wanna shout 'But when we were talking, I saw you nodding out'
London calling 'See we ain't got no high, except for that one with the yellowy eyes'
The ice age is coming, the sun's zooming in
Engines stop running, the wheat is growing thin
A nuclear era, but I have no fear
Cause London is drowning, and I live by the river
Now get this
London calling 'Yes, I was there, too. An' you know what they said? Well, some of it was true!' London calling at the top of the dial 'After all this, won't you give me a smile?'
London calling 'I never felt so much alike alike alike alike...'"
Mr. Mann's songlist is quite telling the tale is it not? A war is declared and openly in progress and yet the boys and girls make no response, they stay in the cupboard. The song that could awaken them seems to be lost on them because Beatlemania is dead. This could be a great play-on with the Paul is dead hoax and the imposter knight presently doing the Queen's business. All the boys and girls loved to listen to 'Revolution No. 9' back in the day, but its lost on them now. Would John Lennon ever accept a knightship and service to the Oueen? 'Imagine' says never, no way, but John is long gone and a plastic widow, Yoko Ono, croons instead. Beatle mania could have taken the ball of shit and yielded wings of flight if we had only imagined. Since London is still calling the ring is not in our swing its in our telephone calls to snitch.
The allusions to a coming Ice Age, floods, nuclear woes, running of of oil and food are very timely with so many of the signs today. The signs however are not seen thus don't yield wisdom, much like Old Salty. In this song story 'have no fear, cause London is drowning, and I live by the river' are results of the siren song playing to effect 'attack the ocean bottom'. The hearers think they can overcome without uniting, they fall asleep, they are overcome by drugs and once it all comes to pass ... "Hey it was true, kinda, all along." Of course at this stage its already to late and in so mocking fashion London calls for smiles all around because they faces are all alike.
Smiles all around could be seen as alluding to teeth, ie Shin, the letter of fire. The teeth are afterall the naked weapons of grasping one's prey. Yet in this story the teeth of the masses are never barred, they dont strike, having been defanged by 'information received'. London calling is really London Temple dicatating double speak through Queen's knight. Checkmate. Or is it?
Freedom appears under all kinds of guises today. For example Chevrolet's "Chevy an American Revolution" or say "todays July 4th and were going to shoot fireworks off because were freedom loving Americans" or say in England "todays Novemeber 5th and were shooting off fireworks, burning an effigy of Guy Fawkes, because ... well, God Save the Queen!". Today's freedom is a stand in for consumerism as in 'Your free to buy all you want. Do you have a credit card?' This standin is a Strawman that appears as freedom but in reality is a hollow corpse. A hollow corpse that desperately needs a guy, any guy, to not just play Guy Fawkes, but to be Guy Fawkes.
Guy Fawkes is an enigma pulling from a non-existent center. He is a person who could have been, but wasn't. A person celebrated, but never lived. A faux ruse made to defuse. Consider the magical act of burning an effigy every year and never setting fire to Parliament. One feels vindicated for awhile, at least until next year, meanwhile Big Ben keeps ticking, London Tower keeps its ghosts, the Queen, God bless her, waves and smiles, and Mother England's terror coppers respond to 'information received'.
"Nowhere Man" - by the Beatles http://tinyurl.com/gnxe7
"He's a real Nowhere Man, sitting in his Nowhere Land, making all his nowhere plans for nobody.
Doesn't have a point of view, knows not where he's going to, isn't he a bit like you and me?Nowhere Man, please listen, 'You don't know what you're missing. Nowhere Man, the world is at your command.'
He's as blind as he can be, just sees what he wants to see, Nowhere Man can you see me at all? Nowhere Man, don't worry, take your time, don't hurry, leave it all till somebody else lends you a hand.
Doesn't have a point of view, knows not where he's going to, isn't he a bit like you and me?Nowhere Man, please listen, 'You don't know what you're missing. Nowhere Man, the world is at your command.'
He's a real Nowhere Man, sitting in his Nowhere Land, making all his nowhere plans for nobody. Making all his nowhere plans for nobody. Making all his nowhere plansfor nobody."
No clue at all who he or she is, none. If this one had imagination, the will to think outside the box, the world could be, should be, his or her oyster. Guy Fawkes makes clear play here as a non-existent, never happened being. We all say 'guy, chap, fella, etc.' invoking the name but not the substance, and become Old Salty, the losers of 'all your losing', the nodder offer, the zombie's of death, the Nowhere Man. No one can make any plans that deviate from the script when a Revelation of the Apocalypse is the grand finale, when a Neo-Con agenda drives the war on Terror, when satellites eye from the sky, when chips and other tracking devices map every move. No one. We feign this is our world, our children, our future, when its not anything of the kind. Its somebody elses land, your somebody elses property, yes even your thoughts. You can only think such and such, you can only listen to such and such. If you listen to that revolution like music your only swing may be on that 'ring of truncheon thing'. That somebody can only have power because the true power, the real creator, the real singer has given it over, he has been duped by a dirge entitled 'information received'.
There once was a Creator.
He is entombed here,
after succumbing to fear.
Mr. Mann's ride was revealing to the state of our world, our minds. It mockingly stabs us in our blind eyes as to our wretched condition. A condition of conditioning upon conditioning upon conditioning, seeming ad infinitum.

Eugene ,
great JOB !!!
excellent work ..
Eugene ,
what can I say .. very well thought and tied together ..
psych dynamics well applied here ..
and here is a few ..
procol harem
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Procol_Harum
The band name was chosen by its manager, after the name of a friend's cat which roughly translates from Latin as "Beyond these things". The original spelling of the phrase is sometimes given as "Procul Harum (or Harun)". If this is the case then the band's name is in fact a misspelling and one which has frequently been 'corrected' in articles and catalogues.
--------------------------
'beyond these things' indeed ..
whiter shade of pale
Main Entry: 3pale
Function: adjective
Inflected Form(s): pal·er; pal·est
Etymology: Middle English, from Middle French, from Latin pallidus, from pallEre to be pale -- more at FALLOW
1 : deficient in color or intensity of color : PALLID a pale complexion
2 : not bright or brilliant : DIM a pale sun shining through the fog
3 : FEEBLE, FAINT a pale imitation
4 : deficient in chroma a pale pink
-- seeing as I want to connect this to the rainbow bridge ..
the rainbow is made from white light ..
thus whiter shade .. and pale seem to be the opposite or 'absence' of the rainbow bridge .. the rainbow being full of chroma and color and vibrant
the idea of the Miller Tale is interesting and I am thinking in 2 different directions ..
1) Oceans 12 .. there is a reference to the 'scene in Miller's Crossing'
this seems to connect to the idea of the crossroads where deals are made .. which can connect to the idea of the rainbow bridge
2) In Snake Eyes by De Palma .. which 'shows' 911 .. the assasination of the Defense Secretary during Fight Night takes place with a sniper firing from one of 2 miller beer lights ..
the 2 miller beer lights are like a big 11 .. with the 'palestinian terrorists' firing from inside one of them .. while a girl holds up Lucky number 7 ..
7 and 11 ..
the idea of Miller associated with a GATE or DOOR .. not really sure
just some ideas ..
2) Immigrant Song .. yes this is very important ..
interesting enough .. The Nazi Party Rallies as in Triumph of the will , in 1938 featured Hitler arriving on Zeppelin Field coming out of a Cloud which represented Vahalla ..
So Hitler himself was being presented to the people as a Superman coming from Vahalla ..
just another random thought
London Calling ..
this is interesting as well ..
and Eugene .. phoney beatle mania has bitten the dust ..
one thought I had seeing the Protest in France and then in the USA .. was that it now seems to be all about the MONEY ..
there are not 1000000 people protesting the war or anything like that .. its about a sure job .. [it is about more than that of course .. but the point is that the reason so many are so forcefull is their own reward or benefit .. not like the 60's ]
and this is interesting as well in connection with the rainbow bridge .. the OZ movie Emerald City corresponds to Pink Floyd and MONEY ..
The Clash was also just a part of the Rock and Roll theme .. in contrast with the Sex Pistols ..
London Calling .. is a song we were discussing back in July .. the other song was an american werewolf in London ..
which was 'weird' because I was joking that Rudy Guliani .. should be showing up in london .. and then bang .. they had that terror attack the next day and Rudy Guiliani was 'right there' ..
Rudy on the Spot [rudy = wolf] .. so Rudy is an American Wolf in London .. just strange that is all .. and when we discussed this last week I was thinking .. Rudy Guilini and where is he ? he should surface .. and he did .. he showed up to testify at the flight 93 trial ..
which is important because FLIGHT 93 is the rainbow Bridge in my logic .. the trial and the voices from with the plane and the tower ..and the upcoming united 93 movie are all imporant .. and timed with right now as well ..
and nowhere man .. well said ..
I would just add that nowhere man is the book about lennon which the movie Chapter 27 will be based on .. at least the idea for chapter 27 written in blood ..
and that book is good .. I read it .. real valuable to understand what happened to Lennon ..
and there is a lot more to say about Yoko .. but not for now
oh .. Eugene .. the connection of whiter shade of Pale to Sgt Pepper .. is very good .. that is valueable piece of info !!
NO ONE CAME - deep Purple song
Maybe it's because I'm only starting
That I think it won't take too long
Maybe it's because I can see you laughing
That I think you've got it wrong
Maybe I could be like Robin Hood
Like and outlaw dressed all in green
Someone said what's he gonna turn out like
And someone else said never mind
Well I was big and bold and more than twice as old
As all the cats I'd ever seen
I grew my hair and bought a suit
Of shiny white or was it cream
I shook and shivered danced and quivered
And stood on a mountain top
No one came from miles around and said
Man your music is really hot
Well I knew what they meant because I was a freak
My throat was tired and worn
My pretty face just looked out of place
As they poured on the scorn
I wrote on yellow paper from a man who was the king
He said my boy we'll have some crazy scenes
There weren't any scenes at all like he was talkin' about
He must've been the king of queens
Well I could write a million songs about the things I've done
But I could never sing them so they'd never get sung
There's a law for the rich and one for the poor and there's another one for sing
It's die young and live much longer
Spend your money and sit and wonder
No one came for miles around
And said man your music is really funky
I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star
Nobody knows who's real and who's fakin'
Everyone's shouting out loud
It's only the glitter and shine that gets through
Where's my Robin Hood outfit
Well I've come and I've gone before you wink an eye
No one ever cared enought to say goodbye
The money's good and the time you have
Fun and games galore
But you spend your money and lie in bed forgotten
And you wonder what you did it for
No one came from miles around
And said man who's he?
'The beyond these things' of the name Procul Harum also intrigued me. The name and the lyrical content is so kab of allah like...play this way, play that way, many gleanings.
Great angle on light and lack of light with rainbow bridge, etc. Really a killer angle.
Have either of you read Gurdjeff's Beelzebubs Tales to His Grandson?
Eugene ,
thanks . no haven't read it but I know of it .. connected to sirius I think ?
also .. and this is big ..
since we are connecting these songs to the Immigrant Song Viking Hammer of the gods type of thing ..
the connection of nowhere man ..
I mentioned in passing that the book details many things about John Lennon's Last days etc ..
one of the things that intrigued me was that yoko set it all up .. by the numbers .. she even made sure that john has a special phone number that she said vibrated with the city and the building ..
it was 4437
4437 is interesting because
4437 = 666 * 6.66216216
anyways .. wouldn't ya know that the whole immigrant MARCH is about the protest of HR 4437 ..
