"This administration has probably been one of the most secretive administrations in American history. And one of the areas over which they have thrown a particularly heavy blanket has been information about terrorism, including terrorism [against] the United States," Senator Graham said.
However, for those still concerned about the real mysteries of September 11, such issues as: 1) poorly documented visas -- issued fraudulently by immigration officials failing to follow the law, 2) restrained -- even failed -- standard U.S. military air defense protocols, 3) millions of dollars in suspicious pre-attack stock market insider trading profits as yet unclaimed and unrevealed within a still-unpublicized Securities Exchange Commission 9/11 "Control List," 4) redacted presidential intelligence documents, plus other unanswered questions directly related to prior knowledge of the attacks all seem fair game -- given the explosive evidence.
Presidential candidate Graham also added that "By continuing to classify that information so that it's not available to the American people, the American people have been denied important information for their own protection; for the protection of the communities, local agencies have been denied information which would help them be more effective first responders, and the American people do not have the information upon which they can hold the administration and responsible agencies accountable," the senator said. "I call that a cover-up."

The astonishing validation in recent news reports of presidential prior knowledge that a major attack would occur against the American people on U.S. soil is only superceded by still-hidden evidence regarding the specificity of the details, how the information was obtained, and the complete list of pre-9/11 meetings and briefings recipients. This, as supposedly redacted papers were sent to the people's elected representatives -- thus far mum about that subject.
Given the Commission's conflicts of interest, probable lack of superbly talented interrogators, and "stacked deck" subpoena procedures, etc., the likelihood that 9/11's secrets will be exposed is very small.
So small, in fact, that it may be time for American citizens to force Congress to re-open the People's 9/11 case, since elected leaders are the only ones who can be held accountable by a citizen electorate for their actions -- or the lack thereof.
For if the majority of the American people ever find out that there is already enough incontrovertible evidence to indicate that so-called 9/11 negligence was really intentional, there will be hell to pay.
Moreover, all the weak congressional report redactions, executive privileges, and even Executive Order 13233 on presidential document secrecy will not prevent ultimate administration accountability.

this is an 888 foot aircraft carrier just sunk in pensacola florida ..
oriskany itself is a town in new york famous for a battle in 1777 for which the carrier was named ..

that then equates to the new freedom tower which will be 1776 high ..

Opening film jinx hits Da Vinci Code
The mixed response to Ron Howard’s controversial The Da Vinci Code, the opening film of the 59th Cannes Film Festival, isn’t probably as surprising as it may seem. Many a Cannes opening film has drawn lukewarm reactions in recent years.
The first American film to kickstart the Cannes festival since Woody Allen’s Melinda and Melinda in 2002, The Da Vinci Code has been found wanting in comparison with the Dan Brown book on which it is based.
The book sold upwards of 40 million copies worldwide. The film, say critics who caught it at world premiere, would be lucky to last beyond a month at the box office. The have described The Da Vinci Code as "dull, drab, and plodding".
Kirk Honeycutt, the Hollywood Reporter reviewer found Tom Hanks’ interpretation of the central character of symbologist Robert Langdon "remote, even wooden". He wrote: "Da Vinci never rises to the level of a guilty pleasure. Too much guilt. Not enough pleasure."
The literary editor of the Evening Standard, David Sexton, has been quoted as saying that The Da Vinci Code is "historical hokum with welcome outbreaks of hilarious bad taste."
Running well over two hours, Howard’s film, feel critics, is too long and convoluted for a film that is being touted as a sure-fire blockbuster.
In a sense, it is the opening film jinx that is back to haunt The Da Vinci Code. Barring Pedro Almodovar’s Bad Education, the opening film of the 57th Cannes Film Festival (2004), none of the first night gala screenings in the past five years have impressed the critics.
Last year, German-born French filmmaker Dominik Moll’s Lemming left many in the audience rather cold and clueless. In 2003, Fanfan le Tulipe, an update of a classic French entertainer of yore, fell way short of the quality expected of a Cannes Film Festival opening film.
Pretty much the same verdict has come the way of Ron Howard’s much-hyped film.

A novel said to have been written by former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein has gone on sale in Tokyo.
The manuscript of the book, called Devil's Dance, was carried out of Iraq by one of Saddam Hussein's daughters, the Japanese publishers say.
Saddam Hussein has been credited with writing several novels. This one, says his daughter, was finished a day before the US invasion that toppled him.
The work has been translated by a Japanese journalist.
The journalist says she obtained the manuscript from one of Saddam Hussein's lawyers, who gave her permission to publish it.
The novel was banned in Jordan last year, because of political concerns.
Symbolic subject matter
It is the second work attributed to the former Iraqi leader which has gone on sale in Japan.
The first, called Zabibah and the King, tells the story of a leader who sacrifices a luxurious life for the sake of his people.
Saddam Hussein is currently on trial for war crimes
This book's subject matter is again symbolic.
It depicts a tribe living along the Euphrates River 1,500 years ago that ousts an invading force.
Its Japanese translator has made a plea for the former Iraqi leader to be spared the death penalty should he be found guilty by the tribunal in Baghdad.
Saddam Hussein is a witness to the troubled relationship between Iraq and the US, she says; he should be allowed to live and tell his tale.
